I started Visual Impact Web Design in 1999. I produced my first website when the concept of passing knowledge via the web was just a novelty. From there it grew to designing a website
for my husband and friends in the South African dog world who were interested in having personal websites promoting their show dogs. Having ventured into this exciting new information-world my
husband and I bought an historical newspaper. He the was editor and I did all the hard work of DTP and final production. We distributed 10 000 tabloid papers a month. It left little time for web design. Some years later the paper was taken over. I was able to devote more time to my love of web design and management.
I have the expert backup service of Shearar Business Systems here in South Africa. They provide first class hosting facilities at affordable rates. Being a "one-manned" business allows me to provide an individual service to my clients at a reasonable cost.
Web design and management keeps the right brain at work while organising figures gives balance to my brain as the left takes command.
Years before the internet came into my life I was providing accounting services to a number of professional persons and organisations.
I still provide this service to medical practitioners, medical service industries and non-profit organisations.
